The Happy History of JL Entertainment

Hi! I’m John Laviolette and I have always loved music. As a child, I  would listen to whatever albums my parents had available. My father began working in sales at a  local radio station and would bring home promotional 45s. This led me to the start of my DJ career – playing music made me happy! Fast forward to college where I was able to DJ at the radio station there before moving on to radio in Boston and then here in Western Mass. I played my first wedding in 1989 as “Odyssey Entertainment” and was so excited to be able to help people have a great time just by playing the music I loved. I went on to play countless more weddings and parties bringing that happiness and joy to others. Post pandemic I rebranded as JL Entertainment and hope to bring my love of music and entertaining to you!
